| Bio: | I am Rachel, a self described writer, dancer, actor, storyteller, and advocate of freedom. I generally use the internet to keep up with fandom. I write in Dracula, Greek mythology, Lord of the Rings, Shakspeare, Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll and Hyde, Sweeney Todd, Woman in White, Ibsen, Alice in Wonderland, Arthurian legend, Norse mythology, fairy tales, and an assorted spattering of other fandoms. I post erratically, and when I do, it's normally either related to fandom, something about theater, or some andecdote from my normal life. I'm paranoid so I keep most of the entries that have to do with real life friends locked. If you comment I'll add you normally, unless I can see from your userinfo that you're sexist, racist, homophobic or otherwise intolerant. Though, if you were, you probably wouldn't want to friend me anyway. I go to a performing arts school, and I love performing, but have strong opinions on the trend of modern theater, and many recent musicals, and I voice them every once in a while, which sometimes disentegrates into a rant. I study Isadora Duncan dance and agree with most of her philosophy. That means that every once in a while I may say something nasty about ballet, though I try to avoid doing so. Given as I generally inhabit small fandoms, I welcome reviews of my fan fiction even from people I don't know well, and I always enjoy reading fan fiction in my fandoms. I'm open minded about pairings and such -I read het, slash, femslash, gen, almost every type of fan fiction story, though I tend not to write slash very often, as I'm generally most interested in the female characters of any given fandom. I tend to discuss Dracula, mythology and musicals a lot, so if you don't like any of those you'll probably find this journal a bit boring. I created and co-moderate a community for Dracula fan fiction and fan art, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} whitby_library, which I am utterly awful at promoting, two RPGs (undead_rpg and carfax_asylum), which I promise shall be active one day, and a fan fiction challenge community, sade_challenge, which is always open. I also am now a maintainer at vamp_fiction, though I was not in any way involved in its creation.I'm a bisexual pagan feminist, so if any of those things either offends you or is something you find morally objectionable, please stay away.
